Dear Western Chapter NYWEA Members,
There is a vacancy on the Western Chapter Board of Directors due to the resignation/retirement of Bryan Smith. Bryan leaves us after serving 25 years with NYWEA, and even longer in the industry. His presence will be sorely missed and we wish him well in his next phase of life.
In accordance with the Western Chapter’s Rules of Conduct, the vacancy will be filled by a majority vote by the remaining Board of Directors and the appointee would serve out the remainder of this term (through the end of 2017) plus an additional three (3) year term.
At this time we are seeking interested parties who wish to be considered for this vacant Board of Directors position.
Interested parties should contact Jeffrey Angiel, Western Chapter Chairman at JAngiel@amherst.ny.us to express their interest.
All parties interested in the position will be considered by our Nominating Committee, who will recommend qualified candidates to the Board of Directors for approval.
Interested persons should contact me in writing no later than Friday, February 24, 2017.
As always, please contact any Western Chapter BOD officer for your questions or concerns.
